GRENADA

The Caribbean island you’ve always dreamed of…

Pristine Beaches

When people think of the Caribbean, the first thing that probably comes to mind is endless, white beaches and azure blue waters. And Grenada does not disappoint, with many unspoiled, mile-long beaches such as the famous Grand Anse Beach. Hirondelle Villa is located just a few minutes from away from Grand Anse (consistently voted one of the best in the world), and 5 minutes away from Lance Aux Epines beach and Prickly Bay Marina.

Fascinating culture & diversity

Grenada is also known as the “Island of Spice” because of the production of nutmeg and mace crops, of which it is one of the world’s largest exporters. Spices such as cloves, cinnamon, and some of the best cocoa in the world are produced on the island.

The island’s interior is dressed in a layer of rich rainforest decorated with waterfalls, hot springs, volcanic crater lakes, trekking trails, and the odd monkey for entertainment. Being able to rent a villa in Grenada gives you the ability to experience all of these activities and adventures during your time.

Bustling urban areas

St. George’s is the capital and is a bustling, attractive town clustered around the Carenage inner harbour and the hills around it. The waters around St. George’s have everything from barely sea-worthy fishing boats, to some of the world’s most elite super yachts and record-breaking ocean-racing sail boats. It’s a regular and popular calling port for major cruise ships (which can make the town very busy when they are there). There are some interesting restaurants, a characterful yacht club, as well as a botanic garden and nearby gold club with views that take in both the Atlantic and the Caribbean.

Island dining

Grenada has a whole host of excellent dining options. Socially, the island has some lovely beachside restaurants, bars and rum-shacks, and catering for all tastes and budgets.
